Environments
<Environment> drives image-based lighting from a preset HDRI — the chrome sphere in the center reads it directly. Layer scenery with Sky, Stars, Sparkles, and Cloud for an instant world.
Environment presets are HDRIs served locally from public/hdri/ via the same drei API — first paint is fast, no third-party CDN needed (and the strict CSP is happy). Use background to project the HDRI onto the scene background, omit it to keep IBL only. Sky draws a procedural sun + atmosphere; Stars and Sparklesare point clouds that don't cost much.
